How We Got Here And Where We’re Going

1970’s

Entrepreneurial Beginnings

Kevin’s love for business begins at age 9 selling Newspapers in Cincinnati. By 15, Kevin starts his first business, driveway sealing. By 18, Kevin starts his second business, heating & air conditioning.

1980’s

The Era Of The Infomercial 

Kevin starts The Small Business Center & America Franchise Show. This eventually lead to the creation of the As Seen On TV Brand and helped launch major products such as the Ginsu Knife.

1990’s

Navigating New Success

Kevin is named one of the top 100 entrepreneurs in the world by Entrepreneur magazine. Kevin forms a join venture with HSN, helping them sell hundreds of millions of products.

2000’s-PRESENT

The Birth Of The Shark & Giving Back

Kevin’s continued success leads to him becoming the original Shark on Shark and begins focusing on giving back to young entrepreneurs.

“A Case For Play At the Glazer Children’s Museum”

When is the last time you played. Really? Play is important to our health and our creativity. Thursday, Travis Jennings, roy hellwege and The Kairos Exchange will make a case for play at the Glazer Children’s Museum. Entrepreneur Kevin Harrington will speak about some of his adventures – think Sumo wrestling! And special program directors will guide you through the museum your kids love.
